The Ode is designed for clarity and grinds relatively "coarse-biased". If your coffee tastes flat, go a little finer or slightly increase the ratio/temperature.
Start in the middle range and work your way in: sour → finer, bitter → coarser. Small adjustments make a big difference here.
Yes – it's made for it. Low retention and the knocker help to discharge almost all of the grounds.
Despite anti-static, some retention can remain. A quick tap on the knocker reliably dislodges the remaining particles.
No – the Ode is deliberately optimized for filter methods. It lacks the necessary fine range for espresso.
